Golden Dragon Oxford: Exquisite Chinese Cuisine Awaits You

Hands down best Chinese I’ve had, I’m always comparing other Chinese places to the golden dragon and nothing comes close. The egg rolls are big. The chicken isn’t over breaded and the chicken isn’t gross and not over cooked. The egg drop soup is so good. The fried rice isn’t over cooked. The food is ready quick and always big portions. The price is fair I think for the amount you get. When you dine in they treat you like royalty. The staff is so nice. I’m sad I don’t live in Oxford anymore but I will drive just to get this Chinese. Even my significant other who doesn’t like Chinese food likes the golden dragon food!

I have been here quite a few times since moving to Oxford a little over a year ago. This is probably the best joint in Oxford to get Chinese food! MUCH better than the one up by meijer. I actually drive past that one to get to Golden Dragon lol... I have enjoyed just about everything I have tried from golden dragon, prices are reasonable, portions are good, speed and service are what you'd expect. I'd recommend going here!

I'm not from the area just traveling for work. Decided to give this place a try for lunch and it is very good nive employees very friendly and talkative. They didn't seem very busy but hopefully that will change

The food is really good here, I have nothing but compliments. When we went it, it was pretty quiet and the service was very fast. The waiter was super nice and very helpful with anything needed. We got two meals with upgrades [fried rice] and egg rolls. I absolutely love the Wonton Soup, it was amazing especially with the green onions. The tea tastes wonderful! I got the Orange Chicken, and it was the best I've ever had from any place. Everything tastes like they made it from scratch. The food came in perfect timing too! Fast on-time carry-out. Woman was friendly and the dining room was super clean (I specifically checked since I wasn’t dining in.) Food was all very good. Classic Detroit-style Chinese taste. Bean sprout egg rolls with excellent plum sauce. Egg foo young was very tasty and had a lot of meat. Fried rice could’ve used scrambled egg but did have a few bean sprouts. Portions for the lunch chicken chop suey and the egg foo young were more than enough. This was our first visit. I will definitely go back. Most of the negative reviews seem to specifically be about the sesame chicken. Prices seem to be on par for Chinese, I think. About 12 per lunch.
